SISTERS’ FATE Reviewer Appreciation Giveaway

Eeep! Look what arrived on my doorstep last week! SISTERS’ FATE advanced copies!

SF box

I can’t believe it! I wrote a whole trilogy!!!

trilogy

SISTERS’ FATE is my favorite of the new covers, hands-down. I love the fiery sunset sky and how it features all three sisters but Cate’s the only one looking at you. I love that she and Tess are touching and she’s turned away from Maura. I can’t wait for everyone to read it!

So…I would like to give one reader a chance to win a very early copy! I’d say that you would be the very first, but one wily blogger has already bargained with me to trade a SISTERS’ FATE ARC for CRESS, and because I am a book whore with a mad crush on Captain Carswell Thorne, I gladly agreed. So now you’ll be the very second? And since the book doesn’t come out until August, I doubt I’ll give away another copy until March or so.

How can you enter? Well, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and one of the things I’m most thankful for this year are readers who help spread the word about books you love. I went to a chain bookstore the other day and was dismayed to find that there were zero copies of my books – and zero copies of many of my friends’ books, too. It seems like the space for books is shrinking in favor of non-book merchandise like games and Legos and journals and such. I saw several displays for John Green and Veronica Roth and Suzanne Collins, and don’t get me wrong – I love those books, too. But should a book already have to be a bestseller or have a movie deal to get major promotion? How will readers find new books that way?

Discoverability is an increasing problem, I think. Word of mouth is key. Dedicated booksellers, librarians, and bloggers are key.

So…to win this advanced copy of SISTERS’ FATE, review STAR CURSED.  You’ll get an extra entry for every place you post your review – your blog, Tumblr, Goodreads, B&N, Amazon, Facebook, etc. Leave links in the Rafflecopter below. The contest will be international, open for two weeks, and closing on December 11 at midnight.

Is it possible to be taken by Jessica Spotswood books so much you don’t sleep at night even if you have classes the next day? Well of course, Star Cursed is an amazing, well-written book, with everything in it to keep the story alive and exciting: family bonds, love, friendship, power, magic, suspens, revolution… A fantastic, breathtaking story enforcing the fascination of witchery and the power of the Church dating from previous centuries. To read absolutely! xx

Well gosh, if I'd known that's what it took, I could have gotten you a copy of Cress… 😉

I work at an independent bookstore, and we definitely have your books in stock. Always. Because I love them and love to sell them. 🙂 Can't wait to get my hands on Sisters' Fate!

    1. Melissa! THANK YOUI love independent bookstores and I am so so grateful that you stock my books and handsell them. If you'd ever like a stack of signed bookmarks for your store, just email me at cahillwitch at gmail with the address and I'll send you a bunch!

  3. I would've given you my Cress for a Sisters' Fate (I still haven't read Scarlet- been so bad!!), lol. But I'll be happy just petting it for now and waiting until Penguin sends out ARCs. I have enough books right now to read as it is. They're so pretty and all the covers look so good together! Cannot wait to read it!!

Everyone always says that they're thankful for the readers, but know the readers are just as thankful for you and all other authors. You give us stories to immerse ourselves in and escape reality. You give me something to love all the time <3 Plus, you give me my favorite witches ever, so I'm ten times more bias when it comes to you, Jessica. Have an amazing Thanksgiving!

I will definitely do those things but it's been awhile so I want to reread Born Wicked first, so I probably won't make it w/in the next 2 weeks, but I'll do it anyway 🙂

I am so incredibly excited to read this last installment of my fave sisters! I am also a little upset that I will have to say goodbye to them! This is one of my top series ever. I will read anything you write, Jessica! I am so happy and utterly jealous of whoever wins this very early copy! I am praying my butt off to the random number generator gods that it is me 😉 Congrats on finishing this amazing series!
