Catalogue Ahoy!
Guess what? The winter 2012 Penguin Young Readers Group catalog is online! Which means I can share something exciting:
Penguin chose my book cover for the cover of this catalogue! You can see it here.
Isn’t it pretty? I feel very honored, although I had nothing whatsoever to do with the shininess of the cover. I mean, I’m honored just to be included in this catalogue, because they’re publishing so many amazing books! (Special shout-out to my fellow winter 2012 Apocalypsie Penguin girls, Sara Etienne Wilson/HARBINGER and Lizzie Foley/REMARKABLE. I can’t wait to read both of their books! Perhaps, when there are ARCs, I will plead for them and then give them away to YOU, dear Readers.)
There’s also an excerpt from Chapter Two of BORN WICKED in the catalogue. If you’re curious, check out page 160!
ETA: The Cahill Witch Chronicles has sold in France! For new readers, this brings the total of foreign sales up to 7: French, Italian, Spanish, German, Hebrew, Brazil, and the UK. It gives me lots of joy to imagine having an entire row of them on my bookshelf someday with all sorts of different covers. Whee!
Whee and oui! 🙂
The cover is STILL SO PRETTY, and it looks so fabulous as the Penguin cover!
Hee. Thank you! Can't wait to catch up with you this weekend!
It looks gorgeous in the catalogue! And congratulations to the French foreign rights!
Thank you so much, Emy!
Love the excerpt! Can.Not.Wait. for your book!!
Thank you, Steph! *dances* It's all so exciting! Maybe my tour will send me in your direction so I can see you again!
Amazing news! I like to imagine an entire row of my own books too 🙂
I'm sure you'll have one! I can't wait to see your US cover!
An excerpt! And a book display stand! This is cramazing.
It IS cramazing! Every day feels like Christmas lately. 😀
So much great news. The catalog looks great. A book display too! *faints* All so awesome. Congrats again on everything!
Thank you! I swooned a little over the book display, I must admit. I can't wait to SEE it in actual bookstores!
Brilliant! Being on the Penguin Cover is a total coup! And "félicitations" on the publication in French. I'm now going to have to buy multiple copies of your both in two languages, not just one!
Aww, thank you! And thanks for stopping by the blog! I can't wait to see the French cover, though it will probably be awhile!
