Thrice Interview + Giveaway: PARCHED

Hi! First – check out today’s stop on the STAR CURSED blog tour over at Ex Libris Kate! You can find out the secret behind the name of my favorite new character.

Now – today we’re celebrating the release of Melanie Crowder’s PARCHED!

They say:

parchedA mesmerizing debut middle-grade novel about a boy, a girl, and a dog struggling to survive in a land without water.

“Brutally beautiful, this is a story that both inspires and sounds an alarm, a story of courage and heart. Just like Musa’s ability to tap into water, it asks us to tap into our own humanity, even though it might be more deeply hidden than we can imagine.”—Kathi Appelt, Newbery Honor-winning author of THE UNDERNEATH

“A thrilling, imaginative soul quencher. Crowder’s stunning debut is sure to become a modern classic.”—Rita Williams-Garcia, Newbery Honor-winning author of ONE CRAZY SUMMER

“Spare, unflinching, and beautifully written, this novel walks the line between magic and reality.”—Franny Billingsley, National Book Award finalist for CHIME

I say: I haven’t had a chance to read this yet, but holy wow, look at those amazing blurbs!

Mine would definitely be Doll Bones by Holly Black. Its very creepy and interesting and exciting and amazing and- well I can go on
    Thanks for the giveaway 😀

  2. Elise

My favorite middle grade read would be either Stolen Magic by Stephanie Burgis or Small Medium at Large by Joanne Levy because the main characters are growing into themselves and written so well! I love reading a middle grade novel where the protagonist is a strong girl who through shenanigans and solving problems they come into their own…in their own way.

  3. Amber Hsu

My favorite middle grade read is the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan… I know it's not very original of me, but i just love the series so much! Never fails to make me laugh…
